How to Enable/Disable Ideagen AI Features in Smartforms*

Ideagen Smartforms provides a powerful set of AI features that can enhance your forms and streamline processes. To enable or disable these features, Smartforms admins can follow a simple process within the Smartforms Middleware platform.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Accessing the AI Section:

   • Log in to your Smartforms Middleware account.
   • Navigate to the "AI" section, under the Admin tab in the top menu.

2. AI Disclaimer Acknowledgment:

   • If this is your first time accessing the AI section, you will notice that the AI feature checkboxes are initially greyed out.
   • To activate them, you must first read and acknowledge the AI disclaimer. The disclaimer is linked above the checkboxes.

3. Reading and Acknowledging the AI Disclaimer:

   • Click on the provided link to access the AI disclaimer.
   • Carefully read the contents of the disclaimer.

4. Enabling AI Features:

   • After acknowledging the disclaimer, return to the "AI" section under the "Admin" tab.
   • You will now find the checkboxes for each AI feature activated and ready for configuration.
   • Middleware will show you who last viewed the disclaimer and when.

5. Checkbox Configuration:

   • For each AI feature, there will be a designated checkbox.
   • Check the box next to the AI feature you want to enable.

6. Disabling AI Features:

   • To disable a previously enabled AI feature, return to the "AI" section.
   • Uncheck the box next to the AI feature you want to disable.

7. Save Changes:

   • Once you have configured your AI feature preferences, be sure to save your changes using the provided "Save" button.

Remember that enabling AI features can significantly enhance your users Smartforms experience, but it's crucial to be aware of the responsibilities outlined in the AI disclaimer.
