As of Ideagen Smartforms v13.1, hosted customers (i.e. customers where their system is hosted and managed by Ideagen as part of our software as a service platform) will also have access to Ideagen Home.
Ideagen Home is designed to be a central website where all Ideagen customers can be presented with the ability to launch Ideagen products for which their organization has licenses. You will be provided with information about other Ideagen products, links to community resources, and other Ideagen related content that is relevant to your system use.

1. What is Ideagen Home?
Ideagen Home is a new web experience where you can launch any Ideagen products and solutions that your organisation has licenced, and you can also access additional Ideagen resources to make your use of the system as successful as possible.
2. Will the new Ideagen Home apply to me if I am On-Premise?
No, the Ideagen home is a new experience for our hosted customers only.
3. How will the new Ideagen Home experience impact our users?
Hosted users on the web app* will experience a new home page providing wider access to Ideagen supporting information.
*This does not effect mobile-only users.
4. Do I need to do anything?
To ensure a seamless experience, users will need to be able to access the domain home.ideagen.com. If your organization's firewall and security settings require whitelisting of allowed sites, please have your IT team add this domain or all ideagen.com domains. This will allow uninterrupted access to Smartforms, and Ideagen Home.

5. What happens if I'm already logged in?
If you are already logged into the product and you navigate to a Smartforms page or click on a link (e.g. system emails) then you will land directly on the relevant screen in the product. You will not be directed back to the Ideagen Home screen.
6. What happens if I'm signed out?
If you are logged out of the system and you navigate to a Smartforms page or click on a link to log in (e.g. a link included in an email) then you will arrive at the Ideagen Home screen. You can then proceed into your Ideagen product, where you will be able to login using your chosen method.
7. What happens when I click sign out?
When you log out of your Ideagen product you will be directed to Ideagen Home.
8. What happens if I browse to Ideagen Home instead of a product?
If you arrive at Ideagen Home before navigating to a product login screen then you will not be able to progress into the product. Accessing the Ideagen product places a cookie on your system which allows the product to appear on your Home screen.
However, if you arrive at Ideagen Home after having visited the login page of a product then you will see the product tiles available.
9. When will this update take place?
The planned release of Ideagen Home for Ideagen Smartforms is on October 10th, 2023. Should this change, this article will be updated.
